The Clinical Laboratories of Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital (HHK) and Komatke Health Center (KHC) provide practitioners and patients with laboratory services of the highest standards, consistent with the Goals and Missions of Gila River Health Care (GRHC) and the community. The staff consists of qualified professionals who provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The laboratory offers a complete spectrum of tests using up-to-date analytical equipment. Most tests are completed in-house; an outside laboratory handles those that are not. Current computer technology is used to monitor tests and report results. The laboratory has an extensive internal quality control program, in addition to participating in proficiency testing programs. We are accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA ’88).
Hours of Operation: HHK Laboratory – Open 24 hours to cover the Emergency and Inpatient departments.
Draw station is open daily for blood collections.
- Monday through Thursday – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday – 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday – 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
KHC Laboratory – Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (closed on weekends and holidays)
