Ginger Fligger has over 35 years in the health care industry with her career not only focusing on the financial viability of the organization, but the commitment to serve the community in which she is employed. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in health care from the University of Phoenix and a certification from Arizona State University in Public Management. She was hired as the Chief Financial Officer in 2011. During her tenure she was promoted to the position of Revenue Cycle Director in March 2008. She has extensive knowledge in the area of accounts receivables among various health care settings and has been instrumental in building a provider network for Gila River Health Care. Her expertise in the area of Contract Health Services (CHS) was gained through her experiences working at GRHC, which focused on efforts to maximize the delivery of patient services affected by limited federal funding allocations. Her thorough knowledge about the Arizona state Medicaid plan and Contract Health Services has been vital in her success at GRHC. It is one of many reasons she has been invited to speak at national Indian Health Service conferences. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has served on advisory boards for women’s issues and domestic violence.
