The Customer Service Department

The Customer Services Department (CSD) promotes the Patient Family Centered Care core principles that foster healing, collaborative partnership, information sharing while treating patients and their families with dignity and respect. The CSD provides cultural sensitivity, diversity, awareness education and behavioral change programs. These principles are designed to educate staff members about the Gila River Indian Community, other tribal nations, and the diverse cultures that exist at GRHC. 

The Patient Advocates will serve as patient and family interpreters/liaisons to facilitate communication with the health care teams. A key responsibility is to advocate for patient rights while demonstrating dignity and respect to assure patient concerns are promptly acknowledged and addressed.
