Alisa is originally from Southwest Virginia.   Her nursing career brought her to Arizona in 2002.  Alisa’s educational journey started in Florida, receiving her Registered Nursing degree in 1996.  She returned to school in 2011 for her Masters in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013.  Alisa joined the health care team at Gila River Health Care in 2014.  She considers it an honor to work with the Community, learning about its history and rich culture.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children,  volunteering at her church, and hiking.
