It’s our goal to ensure each new employee starts off on the right foot by giving them the information and tools to succeed.

NEOP is the process we use to train and orientate new employees. It consists of the following multi-day trainings and orientations;

  1. HR paperwork, IT access, email and badges
  2. Community history and culture
  3. GREMS history
  4. Customer service
  5. Communications
  6. Documentation/PCR writing
  7. Area familiarization
  8. National Incident Management System (NIMS)
  9. START triage
  10. Equipment Orientation
  11. Software Orientation
  12. Base Station orientation shift
  13. Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Course (EVOC), 2 days
  14. Orientation shifts
